What Is Apple Valley?
Apple Valley Assisted Living has two attractive and comfortable apartment communities. Our Clear Lake community has 49 units and our Osage community has 39 units, each providing services in an environment of luxury, comfort and security. Services and amenities include meals, housekeeping, laundry, individual response system, 24-hour staffing and much more.

Who Owns Apple Valley?
Apple Valley is owned by Apple Valley, L.L.C. This is a group of local individuals who came together from Clear Lake and Osage to offer assisted living care services to the people of North Iowa. Ownership is local, and the pride is in our Clear Lake and Osage communities.

Do The Individual Apartments Offer Privacy?
Yes. Every tenant will be provided with a key to their individual apartment. Assured privacy is simply a matter of closing your front door. Apple Valley is a friendly and social community always recognizing the importance of each individual’s privacy.

Are The Apartments Furnished?
No. Apple Valley gives each occupant the opportunity to bring personal furnishings to make the apartment as comfortable and familiar as possible.

Tax Deductibility of Assisted Living Expenses

Depending upon your circumstances, all services related to Assisted Living in Iowa are tax deductible. See your tax accountant for details.

Apple Valley’s Commitment To Affordability

Apple Valley is an advocate for providing affordable assisted living opportunities in north-central Iowa. Our commitment to affordability is reflected in what we do.

We offer a range of daily rates based on a choice of service plans and various apartment sizes so residents pay only for what they need and want.

Apple Valley requires no real estate purchase, lifetime endowment payment or large entrance fee.
Our administrative health & wellness assessment is free.

HUD Housing Assistance

Apple Valley is also unique in further assisting residents in obtaining HUD Housing Assistance. Eligible residents can receive assistance through the local Housing Program to help defray the cost of rent.

If the services included in your basic monthly rent are not enough to keep you living independently, simply add personal support services. Our goal is to help you live as independently as possible.

Personal support services can be provided in the privacy of your own apartment. All services are delivered by our trained, caring staff who will respect your choices, privacy and personal dignity.
